How to get to San Pancho, Nayarit
San Pancho is located on one side of Highway 200, known as the Tepic - Puerto Vallarta Highway. Land access is easy and uneventful, regardless of whether you bring your own vehicle or decide to take public transportation into town.

On Highway 200, follow the signs until you find the exit to San Pancho. If you come from Puerto Vallarta, you will find it approximately after an hour of traveling. On the other hand, if you come from Tepic, it will be slightly past the second hour.
The street is called Avenida Tercer Mundo and is the main entrance to the town. Once inside, go straight a couple of blocks to Asia Street. Turning to the right, two blocks later, you will find Agua de Luna Boutique Hotel, the beginning of your vacations in the Mexican Pacific.
Remember that we have parking, so you can store your vehicle after you arrive.

If you want to get around like the locals and learn how to get to San Pancho using public transportation, then you should know that there are two types of roads in the region: short-distance and long-distance.
To get from Puerto Vallarta to San Pancho, you must get on one of the long-distance buses, locally known as Medina. These can be found either at the Airport, the Pier or downtown. You must locate a bus that says “San Pancho”, which are generally the same ones that take you to other beaches such as Sayulita or Lo de Marcos.

You can also take a tourist bus from Guadalajara to Compostela, and once in Compostela, drive 1hr 30 on Highway 200 to San Pancho.
